The Zee5 streaming platform unveils a list of 80 new titles, including “Forensic” by Vikrant Massey

The list of Hindi originals includes “The Broken News”, the highly anticipated “Forensic”, the latest seasons of audience favorites like “Abhay 3”, “Sunflower 2”, “Tripling 3”, “Never Kiss Your Best Friend 2 and ‘Rangbaz 3’.

Commenting on the development, Manish Kalra, Chief Commercial Officer of ZEE5 India said, “We are excited about the response that Indian OTT [over-the-top or streaming] viewers gave to ZEE5, it further encouraged us to curate a list that caters and connects to audiences across India. As a consumer-driven brand, we have invested in expanding our creative pool by bringing India’s diverse talents, creativity, culture and stories closer to people across the country and to global audiences.

“Growth has been remarkable with a significant share coming from regional markets, as we strengthen our presence in the South and Punjab,” continued Kalra, adding, “We have increased our investments with a concerted focus on content regional as we remain open to partnerships with global studios, independent creators and premium content production houses in all regions and languages.

To up the ante, the platform will also offer digital theatrical release of films such as John Abraham’s ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘Jhund’ and ‘Attack: Part 1’. The content slate also includes a solid regional lineup, with some of the most anticipated shows and movies in Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Bengali like ‘Nilamellam Ratham’, ‘Anantham’, ‘Gaalivaana’, ‘Kinnerasaani’, ‘Yaar Anmulle Returns’, ‘Fuffad Ji’, ‘Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal’, ‘Shikarpur’, ‘Raktakarabi’ and ‘Swetkali’.
